Selection Stages for New Student Admission to PKN STAN 2024-2025

In the new student admission process to the State Finance Polytechnic (PKN STAN), there are several selection stages that participants must go through. Based on information from the official PKN STAN website, the selection stages consist of:

• Administrative Selection

• Basic Competency Test (SKD)

• Advanced Selection I

• Advanced Selection II

Here is an explanation of the selection stages that prospective PKN STAN participants should understand:

1. Administrative Selection

In this stage, participants are screened based on administrative requirements for various pathways, such as the Regular Path, Regional Affirmation Path, and Talent Path. Participants must ensure they meet the requirements for PKN STAN registration, such as scores, age, and registration for the Computer-Based Written Test- National Selection Based on Test (UTBK-SNBT).

If participants pass the administrative selection, they will proceed to the next stage. Participants who do not meet the requirements in this stage will be disqualified and will not continue to the next stages.

2. Basic Competency Test (SKD)

The Basic Competency Test (SKD) is attended by participants who pass the administrative selection and have completed payment. SKD is conducted using the Computer Assisted Test (CAT) system from the State Civil Service Agency (BKN).

The tests in SKD include:

• Personal Characteristics Test (TKP)

• General Intelligence Test (TIU)

• Nationalism Knowledge Test (TWK)

Participants are declared to have passed the SKD if they meet the specified passing scores in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform.

Passing Scores for PKN STAN New Student Admission 2024-2025:

• Regular Path and Non-Affirmation Regional Talent Path:

  • TKP: 156

  • TIU: 80

  • TWK: 65

• Regional Affirmation Path and Affirmation Regional Talent Path:

  • TIU: 55

  • Cumulative score for TKP, TIU, and TWK: 281

3. Advanced Selection I

Participants who pass the SKD will proceed to Advanced Selection I. This stage consists of two main tests:

• Health and Fitness Test

• Psychological Test

Health and Fitness Test:

• Health Test includes height and weight measurement, blood pressure check, eye vision test, and/or other health checks determined by the Central Committee.

• Fitness Test includes running around the track, shuttle run, push-ups, sit-ups, and/or other activities determined by the Central Committee.

The Psychological Test is conducted using a Computer-based Test.

Participants are declared to have passed Advanced Selection I if they meet the required health, fitness, and psychological test criteria. The score for this stage is a combination of the two criteria, each with a 50% weight.

4. Advanced Selection II

Advanced Selection II is an interview stage followed by participants who pass Advanced Selection I. The interview is conducted as follows:

• Participants attend the interview at the designated location.

• The interviewer conducts the interview online via video conference.

Participants are declared to have passed Advanced Selection II if they meet the minimum interview criteria and are ranked according to the final allocation needs for each program. Participants who pass will be accepted as PKN STAN students.
